Global warming my butt.
Global warming doesn't mean less snow. It means there will be more. And in weird places. The oceans are evaporating into the atmosphere and then condensing and falling as snow.
The OVERALL temperature of the earth is what is "warming."
Yep...that's what they say anyway. When I was in high school, experts insisted we were "headed for another ice age" because the temperature of the earth was "cooling at a rapid and dangerous rate." So, forgive me if I'm not buying the whole "global warming" argument.
I agree with you Tim. If global warming is such a crisis, why do all the proposed solutions ignore the countries who pollute the most, like India and China? Instead, all the proposed regulations are aimed at the US.
My other objection is that it is the height of arrogance to think that man can lay low God's entire creation on his own. Corrupt it and neglect it, yes, but not to the extent that the global warming alarmists would have us believe.
